Configure Professions for Your Organization
Initial professions and services are set during the signup process. You can modify them here.
- Click Settings in the sidebar.
- Click the Professions tab.
- Use the Search professions... bar to find specific professions.
- Select the checkboxes next to the professions your organization provides. These are the services your organization offers. Each profession is displayed with a corresponding icon, for example, Electrician, Plumber, or HVAC Technician.
- Click Save to apply your selections.
Organization vs. User Professions and Installer Status
The professions configured under the Professions tab in your organization's settings define the master list of services your organization offers. Individual users within your organization can then select their specific professions from this master list.
A user is considered an 'installer' in the system if they have at least one profession assigned to their individual user account. This allows the system to correctly route tasks and orders to qualified personnel.
To assign professions to an individual user:
- Navigate to the user's profile settings.
- Under the Professions section, select the relevant professions from the list provided by your organization.
- Save the changes.
