The Installer.com app provides a centralized platform to manage your field service operations. This guide will help you understand the main sections and how to navigate the application.

Sidebar menu

The sidebar menu provides access to all main sections of the app:

  • Dashboard — view your operational overview.

  • Orders — manage all jobs.

  • Bookings — access scheduled appointments and the calendar view.

  • Scheduler — plan resources and assign tasks.

  • Chats — communicate with team members and customers.

  • Feedback — share input about the app.

  • installer.com support — get help and support.

Dashboard metrics

The dashboard displays cards summarizing your current workload and key metrics:

  • In progress — jobs currently underway.

  • Completed — finished jobs.

  • My tasks — tasks assigned to you.

  • Company tasks — all tasks across your organization.

  • Waiting for partner — jobs pending action from a partner.

  • Waiting for customer — jobs awaiting customer input.

  • Bookings / On hold — scheduled or paused jobs.

Quick actions

The top bar provides quick access to essential actions:

  • Click + Create order to start a new job from any page.

  • Click the bell icon to check your notifications.
