Forward an order

You can forward an order to another team member or partner to reassign responsibility or collaborate on a job. This feature allows you to transfer an order's ownership and visibility, which now expands through the entire chain of forwarded actors, not just one level.

Forward an order

  1. Navigate to the specific order you wish to forward.
  2. Find and click the Forward order action.
  3. In the forwarding dialog, you can choose to forward the entire order or select specific workflow steps.
    • Forward entire order: The entire order, including all its workflow steps, will be forwarded to the selected recipient(s).
    • Forward specific steps: You can select individual workflow steps to forward. For each selected step, you will have two options:
      • Delegate: The selected step(s) will be delegated to the recipient(s). The original owner retains oversight.
      • Transfer: The selected step(s) will be fully transferred to the recipient(s), who will become the new owner(s) of those steps.
  4. Select the desired recipient(s) using the actor dispatch picker.
  5. Verify your selection in the dialog.
  6. Click Forward to complete the action.
