View an order's workflow

Last updated: July 28, 2026

You can view the current status and steps of an order's workflow directly from its details page. If the order is a test order, a banner stating 'This is a test order' will be displayed at the top of the order details page.

View an order's workflow

  1. Click Orders in the left navigation menu.

  2. Select an order from the list to open its details page.

  3. Review the Workflow section to see the sequence of steps, such as "Order created," "Select installer," and "Job response," along with their current status (e.g., "done," "active," "todo"). The redesigned workflow view now clearly displays the actors and attribution for each step, providing a comprehensive overview of who is involved and responsible. For completed steps, the name of the user who performed the action is displayed. For booking performance steps, multiple completions (e.g., after a reschedule) are folded into a single 'edited' entry in the timeline. These statuses are determined by the available actions and capabilities for each step, rather than solely by organization assignment. Clicking on a workflow step will open a side panel, allowing you to view detailed information and interact with the step, including performing available actions. The v2 step page is now the default and only view in the customer portal, featuring improved responsiveness and adapting seamlessly to different screen sizes. Note that skipped steps are no longer visible in the customer timeline. The 'Confirm Offer' step has been updated with a new appearance and enhanced interaction options. The active step is visually highlighted to indicate the current stage of the workflow. Upcoming and pre-completed tasks are now clearly distinguished with new color coding, making it easier to track progress. Additionally, any action reasons associated with a step or status change will be displayed, providing more context for the workflow progression. When a step is put on hold, the 'Put on hold' button changes to 'Edit on hold', and you can clear the 'on-hold' status directly from the on-hold drawer on the step page. The workflow timeline in the customer portal now features collapsible sections, allowing for a more organized view. The workflow and timeline data automatically refreshes when the browser tab regains focus. If a step is unavailable, a 'step not found' message will be displayed. The order details page shows the execution and status of the workflow for that specific order. On the order details page, you can also see live presence avatars of other users who are currently viewing the same order, allowing for real-time collaboration awareness. Clients will now also see assigned installer details on dispatch steps within the workflow view. It does not display the name of the underlying workflow template or provide a direct option to edit the template.
