Manage partner price groups
A partner price group is a set of fixed installer payouts. You put installers in a group, set a payout per product for that group, and orders you send those installers use those payouts instead of the product’s default share.
Groups only affect prices. They do not change workflows, dispatching or permissions.
Where partner price groups live
Open Products in the navigation, then select the Partner price groups tab.
Create a group
- Go to Products and select the Partner price groups tab.
- Select Add.
- Check the Name and Custom ID. Both are filled in for you, both are required, and each must be unique in your organisation.
- Add a Description if you want one. It is optional.
- Select Create.
The group appears in the table with its Name, Custom ID and Description.
Set a payout for a product
A group holds one payout per product, and you set it on the product.
- Open Products and edit the product.
- Find Partner price groups.
- Select Add partner group price and pick the group.
- Enter the installer payout. It starts at the product’s full amount, so you lower it rather than fill it in.
- Save the product.
Every product needs its own payout for the group. A product with no payout for the group falls back to Installer’s default share of the price (%).
Total installer payout on an offer cannot exceed what the client pays. One line can go over if the other lines absorb it.
Add installers to a group
You can do this from the group or from the installer.
From the group:
- Go to Products and select the Partner price groups tab.
- Select Edit on the group.
- Under Installers, search for the installer and select it.
- To take an installer out, select the cross beside its name.
Only active partnerships that are not paused appear in the search.
From the installer:
- Open Installers and select the installer.
- In the Partner settings card, find Partner price group for products and offers.
- Pick a group from the list, or pick None to take the installer out of its group.
An installer belongs to one group at a time. The setting shows only while the partnership is Active.
What happens on an order
When the installer accepts a dispatched order, the group’s payouts are written onto the order’s offer lines. Only the main installer is priced this way, and only for products your organisation owns. If that installer forwards the order on, the payout does not change.
Delete a group
- Go to Products and select the Partner price groups tab.
- Select Delete on the group, then confirm.
Deleting a group removes its product payouts and takes every installer out of it. Those installers fall back to each product’s default share.
