Check whether a partner can receive payouts

When you pay installers directly through Installer.com, money only reaches a partner once that partner has finished payout onboarding with the payment provider. A badge on the partner tells you whether they have.

Where the badge appears

Where What you see
A partner’s page, in the Partner settings card The badge with a one-line explanation. Both the Installers and the Partners side carry it.
The Select installer step on an order The badge next to each installer company’s name, before you dispatch.

The badge appears only when your own organization can process customer payments through Installer.com. In the Select installer step it also needs the order to have a Pay offer step, and Pay installers directly turned on under Payments > Settings.

What the badge means

Badge Meaning
Payouts enabled The partner is set up to receive payouts from platform payments.
Payout onboarding needed The partner cannot receive payouts yet. Help them finish onboarding.

There are no other states. The badge reads the partner’s capability with the payment provider, not the state of any single payout on an order.

What incomplete onboarding blocks

The main installer on an order cannot accept it while their payouts are not enabled. On the Order response step they get an alert about their payment account in place of the accept action. Other installer actors on the same order are not blocked, and test orders skip the check.

The partner completes onboarding themselves, in their own payment settings. See Set up payouts.
