Forward workflow steps to an owner actor
Last updated: July 28, 2026
You can configure workflow steps to involve an operator actor, ensuring specific tasks are routed to the designated operator.
Configure operator actor for workflow steps
- Access Workflows: Navigate to Workflows in the left-hand navigation panel to manage your organization's workflows.
- Edit Workflow: Select an existing workflow from the list and click Edit to open the workflow editor.
- Add Actor: Within the workflow editor, locate the Step settings panel and click Add actor to open the "Add actor" modal.
- Select Actor Type: In the "Add actor" modal, click the Type dropdown and select Operator from the available options.
After selecting Operator, the workflow step is configured to involve the operator actor as intended. Note: While workflow steps can be forwarded, the booking performer for 'Booking Perform' steps will still be determined by the original actor defined in the workflow template. However, forwarded dispatch steps will correctly utilize the forwarded partner's installer network settings. Furthermore, workflow steps can now be reassigned between forward partners in both directions, providing enhanced flexibility in task management.
