Create a new product

You can create new products to manage your service offerings and inventory within Installer.com.

Create a product

  1. Click Product catalog in the sidebar.
  2. Click Create new.
  3. Enter the Product name.
  4. Provide a Description for the product.
  5. Enter the Price. The system automatically formats monetary values according to your locale settings.
  6. Enter the Internal Price (optional). This price is only visible to your organization and can be inherited by offer lines.
  7. Select a Payment Source (optional). This payment source can be inherited by offer lines.
  8. Input the SKU (Stock Keeping Unit).
  9. Select a product Type from the dropdown.
  10. Toggle Share with installer network to control visibility.
  11. Toggle Public to determine if the product is publicly visible.
  12. Click Create.

The new product appears in your product list on the Products page.
