Configure scheduling settings
Working hours and the timezone bound every booking your organization plans. You set both once, for the whole organization.
Set working hours and the timezone
-
Click Settings in the sidebar.
-
Click Booking scheduling. It sits under your organization’s settings, so if the scope switcher reads My settings, switch it to your organization first.
-
Under Working hours, set Working hours start and Working hours end. Both are whole hours of the day. Start takes 0 to 23, end takes 1 to 24, and end must be later than start. The default is 6 to 18.
-
Under Timezone, pick a timezone from the dropdown. Type in the search box to narrow the list.
-
Click Save.
The section only appears for people whose role can configure the organization.
What working hours change
The scheduler does not show times more than one hour before or after your working hours. Booking suggestions place a visit inside them only. The drive home can run past the end of the day, but the visit itself cannot.
The scheduler header shows the current working hours and timezone. Click either one to come back to this page.
Why the timezone matters
The scheduler renders times in this timezone no matter where the planner is, so pick the office’s timezone. It also decides which calendar day a client’s preferred and ruled-out dates land on.
Working days are set per person
Working hours apply to the whole organization. The days each person works are set on that person, not here. Under Employee working days, click Users to open the user list, or click an installer’s name in the scheduler.
See Manage team members for the day checkboxes on a user, and Use the scheduler for how the board reads them.
