Customize and save table views
The order list shows the columns you pick, in the order you pick, sorted the way you pick. Your changes belong to the view you are in, and you can save them as a view of your own.
Column settings are on the table on a wide screen. On a narrow screen the order list is a list of cards instead, with no columns to arrange.
Show and hide columns
-
Select Settings above the order list.
-
In Edit table, use the switch next to a column name.
-
Select Apply.
Name & ID is always shown. Its switch is disabled.
To hide one column without opening the drawer, open the menu on its header and select Hide column from view.
There is no column for the client’s email or phone number. Copy or send them from the quick actions on the Customer column instead. See Use quick actions in the order list.
Reorder columns
Drag a column header sideways to a new position. The order updates as soon as you drop it.
You can also reorder in the drawer: select Settings, drag the handle to the left of a column name, then select Apply.
Resize columns
Drag the divider on the right edge of a column header. Double-click the divider to put the column back to its default width.
Column widths are stored in your browser and apply to every view, not just the one you are in.
Sort orders
-
Select Sorting above the order list.
-
Pick a field. Select More for Owner, Creator organization, Installer, Name, Order ID and Assignee.
-
Select the field again to flip the direction. The selected field shows the direction it is using, such as Newest first.
-
Select Apply.
You sort by one field at a time. When you sort by Booking start, orders with no booking come last in both directions.
The header menu sorts one column too, with Sort increasing, Sort decreasing and Reset.
Switch between table and map
Turn on Map view above the order list. The choice is part of the view, so the view opens the same way next time.
Save your view
Your column layout, sorting and table-or-map choice are kept per view in your browser, so a view looks the way you left it when you come back.
When the current view differs from what is stored on it, three controls appear next to the order list:
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Reset | Puts the view back to its saved state |
| Save | Stores the change on the view |
| Save as new view | Copies the current state into a new view under My views |
Save is only there for views your organisation created. Default views cannot be changed, so from one of those you save a copy instead.
Filters count as part of a view as well. See Filter and search orders.
