Use quick actions in the order list
Cells in the order list carry actions for what they show. Point at a cell and its actions appear at the right edge, so you can email a client, copy an address or change an assignee without opening the order.
Quick actions are on the table on a wide screen. On a narrow screen the order list is a list of cards, and the map layout has no cells, so neither has them.
Use a quick action
- Click Orders in the sidebar.
- Find the order’s row and point at the cell you want to act on. The cell’s actions appear at its right edge.
- Click an action’s icon. Pointing at an icon names the action.
Where a cell has more than one action, one is an icon and the rest sit behind the ellipsis button beside it. The ellipsis menu lists every action for that cell.
Copying puts the value on your clipboard and confirms with Copied to clipboard.
What each column offers
| Column | Actions |
|---|---|
| Customer | Email customer opens a new message in your own mail program, addressed to the client. Copy phone and Copy e-mail copy the client’s details. |
| Location | Open in Google Maps opens the address in Google Maps in a new tab. Copy address copies the whole address. |
| Assignee | Change assignee opens the Change assignee form for that one order. Copy phone and Copy e-mail copy the assignee’s details. |
| Tags | Add tags opens a tag search and tags that one order. |
| Last activity | Open opens the order at the source of its latest activity: the step, the chat, the notes or the description. |
A column you have hidden has no quick actions. See Customize and save table views.
When an action is unavailable
An action is greyed out when the order has nothing for it to use: no phone number, no e-mail address, or no address on the order.
The client’s contact details stay hidden until your organization accepts the order. While they are hidden the cell shows a blurred placeholder, and the actions on the client’s phone number and e-mail address are unavailable.
Open is absent on rows whose latest activity has nothing to open.
