Create an order for a partner
You send work to a partner by filling in a form that partner shares with you. The order is created in the partner’s organization, dispatched from yours.
Create the order
- Select Create order on Orders or on Overview. The Create orders page opens.
- In the list on the left, find the partner’s name and select one of the forms under it. A partner appears here only when it shares a form with you through an active partnership.
- The form opens with Sending to and the partner’s name above it. Fill it in on the Manual tab.
- Select Create to create the order and keep the form open for the next one, or Create & open order to open the new order.
The partner decides which fields the form asks for, so two partners’ forms rarely look the same. Contact name, address, email and phone are always there. When the form includes offerings, you add lines for the products you want.
Your own forms and Your workflows are listed separately on the same page. Use those to create an order in your own organization.
A form also has a CSV tab for uploading many orders at once and an API tab. On a narrow screen only the manual form is available; the other tabs need a wider window.
Check coverage while you type
When the address you enter resolves to a location, Location found appears under the field, with Coverage or No coverage next to it. Coverage means the organization the order goes to, or one of its own partners, works in that area. No coverage does not block you from creating the order.
Share the form instead of filling it in
A partner’s form also has Link, QR and Embed tabs. They give you a link, a QR code and a snippet for your own site, and anyone who opens them submits an order without logging in. Each tab stays empty until the form is set up for public sharing. Your own workflows have no sharing tabs.
Find orders you are waiting on
Open Orders and select the Waiting for partner view. It lists your In Progress orders where the current step is active or overdue and belongs to another organization. Steps waiting on the client are left out. Each view in the list carries a count.
